The final stages of preparation for the Porsche 919 Hybrid are underway and the LMP1 race car is looking awesome on the track.
As the German automaker prepares for the 2014 World Endurance Championship, the 919 Hybrid LMP1 race cars have taken to Circuit Paul Ricard in southern France sporting their final livery. During Porsche’s exclusive testing, all six LMP1 works drivers were present and according to the team, despite technical problems, testing was highly productive including night running and countless pit stop practices.

Together, both race cars have covered 2,955 miles as it heads into the WEC Prologue, which extends testing to the entire field of race cars and kicks off March 28. The first round of the WEC will start April 20 at the Six Hours of Silverstone in Great Britain.
